Exceptional antique, patented 1920 Art Nouveau floor lamp designed by German lighting designer Frederick Max Poritz who worked for various lighting companies in NYC. I have held onto this lamp base for over a decade as it is so beautiful and I have never seen another like it. This lamp has several of the most exceptional textiles in my collection including the printed 1920s lame, heavy, opulent gold metallic lace and of course the brilliantly colored and finely detailed flower appliqués! The Amethyst Jewel lamp is in beautiful jewel tones of blue green to amethyst with hand beaded fringe to match and lights up beautifully.

Overall height is 65 inches to the top of the finial.
