Ornate hand-painted antique lamp featuring dragons and flowers holds a Chinoiserie Crescent lampshade hand-dyed in cobalt blue into Chinese red. The shade is covered in antique bronze-gold metallic lace and the center panels are covered in gold net and then overlaid on both sides of the lamp with a pair of antique Chinese dragon appliqués fighting over the pearl of wisdom. The side panels are covered in a printed 1920s lamé fabric. The shade is hand beaded in matching tones of reds, blues and golds. A vintage dragon finial tops the lamp. Frame designed by Christine Kilger and is a one-of-a-kind shape.
