This is a hand painted, detailed, ornate early 1900s metal lamp base which holds a Haight-Ashbury Beehive lampshade in colors of pink, green and teal. Antique hand-dyed cut velvet and gold metallic lace overlay the panels and a pair of vestment appliqués in pink, gold and green adorn the front and back. Hand beaded fringe with Swarovski crystals pick up all the brilliant colors of the shade. A jeweled pull chain turns on the lamp.
