Antique art deco floor lamp with a square base with stylized feet has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed Vase & Peonies Chinoiserie lampshade. The silk shade is dyed cream with hints of blush and is covered with exquisite antique gold metallic lace on the sides. The front and back panels are covered in gold metallic net and overlaid with beautiful and vibrant antique Chinese embroidered peony bouquets with gold metallic leaves. The bouquets feature shades of deep red, multiple shades of blue and touches of peach and green. A delicate, rare French netting overlays the large panels, casting a luminous shimmer over this elegant shade.
The shade's long, dramatic hand-beaded fringe features light peachy-rose beads interspersed with deeper rose, coral, and intense blue beads. Smaller, darker blue and green beads, along with tiny gold accents add delicate, sparkling highlights. A custom beaded pull chain adorns and illuminates the lamp. A stunning, extra-large finial featuring a vase and flowers is hand-painted in matching tones, elegantly crowning the lamp.
