Extremely rare and exceptional Art Nouveau antique floor lamp with original patina has been hand painted in creams, gray blue and bright robin's egg blue. It holds a stately Marie Antionette Grande Aile Lamp silk lampshade. The shade is dyed pale blue and overlaid with antique gold metallic and ivory laces. Beautiful Edwardian gold, cream and blue garland and floral trim adorn the entire shade. The center panels feature exquisitely embroidered silk and metal flower appliqués from the 1800s on the front and back.
The shade has double layer hand-beaded fringe in tones of champagne, cream, gold and robin's egg blue. An ornate beaded custom pull chain illuminates the lamp and a large hand painted fanciful finial finishes the top. This is a showstopper!
Overall height is 63 inches to the top of the finial.
