A wonderful antique floral tôle metal table lamp base has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed Tôle Floral Garden beaded silk lampshade. The shade is dyed pale blue-green to muted pinky-tan with accent colors of blue, pink, coral and lavender. The two center panels on both sides are overlaid with exquisite antique silk Edwardian era rose appliqués in beautiful muted tones that rest on top of champagne colored antique French metallic lace. The side panels are covered with antique floral gold metallic lace with a wonderful patina, A playful swag of 1920s floral and leaf embroidered trim finishes the center panels.
The shade has hand-beaded fringe in golds, mauve, green and each strand ends in a flower drop design. A finial and a sparkling jeweled pull chain finish the piece.
Overall height is 25.5 inches to the top of the finial.
Shade dimensions are approximately 17 x 10 inches.
