Antique 1920s table lamp with lilies has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed Ikebana Spring silk lampshade. The shade is ombré dyed from deep warm muted pink to dusty teal and has a confection of antique textiles and floral appliqués in tones of gold, lavender, cream and light cocoa. These antique fabrics include Edwardian era silk embroidered flowers and antique Asian floral embroideries. The shade has hand-beaded fringe in golds, pale pinks and greens and silver. This piece was inspired by the art of Ikebana - the Japanese art of flower arranging. This shade really transforms from understated to dramatic when lit up!
Overall height is 22.5 inches to the top of the antique finial.
Shade dimensions are approximately 14 x 14 inches.
