Antique metal table lamp with exotic scroll motifs has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed Jewel of India Royal Peacock silk lampshade. The shade is dyed from watery green and blue with accent colors of red, turquoise and silver. The shade is covered with antique textiles including antique silk burnout velvet and the most exquisite beaded net in gold and champagne. The front panel features a regal vintage peacock appliqué from India who perches on a branch and is accented with a sprinkling of silver Zardozi star flower appliqués.
Ornate style finial crowns the top of the lamp. The shade has hand-beaded fringe in gold, blue, turquoise green and special enameled blue bohemian style beads in Marjorelle blue from India.
Overall height is 28 inches to the top of the finial.
