Exceptional stylized antique floor lamp with beautiful rose and shell motifs has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed Blue Velvet Fillmore silk lampshade. The shade is a copy of an antique frame and is ombré dyed from orange to emerald green and is covered on the sides and top with 1920s patterned devore velvet. The adjacent bottom panels are covered in a repeating net lace in wheat, green and blues tones. The center panels are the focal point and feature beautiful stylized French chenille and Art Nouveau scroll appliqués (circa 1900) that overlay a rich dark gold antique metallic lace.
The shade has extra long, dramatic hand beaded fringe in beautiful jewel tones. A beaded pull chain adorns and illuminates the lamp. A nouveau style finial tops the piece.
Overall height is 65.5 inches to the top of the finial.
Shade dimensions are approximately 19 x 13 inches.
