Elegant stylized antique floor lamp with a twirling center pole has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed Kensington Gardens velvet and silk lampshade. The shade is ombré dyed from apricot to sage green and is covered on both sides with an assortment of rare and beautiful antique textiles. The sides and centers are covered with a delicate, gilded gold metallic lace. The center panels on both sides are overlaid with rare French antique chenille flower appliqués from the early 1900s. Adjoining panels are covered with an incredible, colorful silk devore and printed velvet featuring blooms and leaves from the 1920s. An opulent passementerie trim crowns the top of the lamp.
The shade has double layer, extra long, dramatic hand beaded fringe in beautiful matching tones including apricot, green, gold and pink. A bespoke beaded pull chain illuminates the lamp.
Overall height is 64 inches to the top of the finial.
Shade dimensions are approximately 21 x 11 inches.
