From my personal collection, this scrolling vintage metal floor lamp has been hand painted and holds an extra large hand-dyed Le Grand Chinoiserie Tulip silk lampshade. The shade is ombré-dyed from deep teal to fuchsia and covered in a rich gold and black net and then overlaid with brilliantly colored antique Asian flowering vine appliqués.
The beautiful flowering peony appliqués are artfully featured on all four main panels and the side panels are covered with gold metallic lace and four bespoke hand beaded tassels adorn the points.
A beaded jeweled pull chain turns on the lamp. The colors on this lamp are intense and beautiful when lit or unlit.
Overall height is 68 inches to the top of the finial.
