Jeweled Plume Peacock Table Lamp

Antique metal table lamp with scroll and leaf motifs has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed Jeweled Plume Peacock silk lampshade. The shade is dyed from orange into green and blue and covered with antique textiles including antique silk burnout velvet and 1920s embroidery in the same colors. The front and back panels have embroidered net and each side features resides a resplendent vintage embroidered peacock: one at rest and the other in full plumage.
But the piece de resistance on this lamp is the finial. I have never seen one like it in over 25 plus years of collecting! It is probably Czech Bohemian in origin and is inlaid with glass stones in turquoise and emerald green that repeat the peacock plume motif. The shade has long, hand-beaded fringe in 24k gold, blue, turquoise green and amber. A jeweled pull chain finishes off the lamp!
Overall height is 31 inches to the top of the finial.
