Chinoiserie Red Lantern with Cranes and Roses Floor Lamp

1920s antique floor lamp with scrolls has been hand painted and holds a hand-dyed exotic Chinoiserie Red Lantern with Cranes silk lampshade. The lantern shaped shade is dyed a coral red and has six panels with an abundance of antique Chinese embroidered cranes and pale blue and white rose appliqués. The top of the lantern is covered with gold mesh and the bottom ovals are filled with ornate antique gold metal lace on net. A gossamer rare French netting overlays the large panels giving a beautiful shimmer to the shade.
Adorning the shade is hand-beaded fringe in colorful matching tones of reds, gold and blue green and six long dramatic tassels. A bespoke pull chain completes the lamp. It lights up beautifully!
Overall height is 65 inches to the top of the finial.
