Beautiful and unusual 1920s era table lamp with an oval base and crawling tole roses has been hand painted and holds a Hanging Garden Peacock & Roses silk and beaded shade. The shade is ombré dyed in jewel tones of dark amber to emerald green with hints of blue and has been overlaid with antique and vintage fabrics.
The front and back center panels are covered with antique gold metallic lace and overlaid with colorful, exotic flower and vine embroidered appliqués. The side panels are covered with a beautiful 1920s violet silk net with metallic motifs and the center feature panel has the same net and a exquisitely detailed embroidered metallic vintage peacock appliqué from India.
The shade has hand-beaded fringe in beautiful jewel tones of violet, orange, green and teal.
Overall height is 27 inches to the top of the finial.
